Hydration is critical to athletic performance – dehydration is one of the most common reasons for early fatigue during exercise. It takes as little as losing 2 % of your body weight for the performance to suffer. Fluids such as coconut water, chocolate milk, sports drinks and plain ol water have been featured for recovery post-exercise. What type of fluid should we be drinking and when?

Is it possible for an athlete maintain their muscle mass without eating meat? How can they meet their nutritional needs while being meat free?
Yesterday while driving home after working a very long day, I could not think of anything else I’d rather do than blow off some steam at the gym. Yes I was tired, but I felt like going for a hard run would make my day complete.  I started to ponder what my strongest motivators were for wanting to exercise.
