Summer is such a happy time, especially during this strange time in the world. This summer also seems to be especially HOT so far – so you’re not going to be wanting to spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking while appliances are heating up the room.
This post was inspired by the big ole tub of hummus in my fridge that was about to expire.
Although I am of the school of thought that you don’t have to cook everything from scratch to be healthy and convenience foods do have a place – sometimes those convenience foods can add up cost-wise!
This week in particular has felt quite heavy. In Ontario, we were faced with more lockdowns restrictions as Covid cases increase. I have been wondering if we will ever get out of this thing.
More and more people are wanting to go plant-based (which by the way – has many definitions and doesn’t have to mean vegan). However it’s hard to know where to start or what recipes will taste good!
If you follow my page, you will know that I’m a huge fan of oats. I typically make overnight oats but this week I put together Baked Oats with inspiration from the viral TikTok Trend!
